STATE OF LONLINESS

Lonliness is a state of being that I know all too well..by myself I lay and stare at the ceiling in solitude I often dwell....

So quiet and somber, everything so still, I can hear the beating of my own heart..it's sad to be so in love with someone yet not have them near, it sucks being so far apart....

It's often cold on the other side of the bed, I gaze and wish you were there..your pillow is always perfectl fluffed, your side is always made...

I sit alone for a candle light dinner with two glasses full of wine..I tell a joke and smile to myself..no response...I'm all alone, another hour passes, the clock just chimed.....

Still I smile when thoughts of your run through my mind, of my special sweet lil lady..so beautiful, so special,such a wonderful gift, my life, my love, my lady.....

So one more night, I lay and think of the day when you will be in my arms....don't worry baby, I'll just sleep on your side tonight, and keep your pillow warm......
