Storm

Storm

Life itself clings to its autumn gown
that billows frantically in the storm.
Threadbare branches, cherish the last
few pieces of amber fabric swirling.
But, the heart reaches downwards
all the more deeper to weather the turmoil.
Resolute and courageous she embraces his intensity
heady with his undiluted ardent.

His passion only makes her stronger.

Silent under his chalky blanket
somewhere in tempest
she stands alone in bittersweetness.
Enveloped in snowfall.
Tears fall and fall;
for she finds him in the storm
feels him in the thunder
misses him in the rain.
