Hiding behind a painted face, no speaking, just entertaining

With grace, and humor, no props, no partner, pretending

Feelings of passion, starving for attention, alone in time

Acting out, and dancing, gallivanting, magician, white faced mime

Only sadness inside, crying, shy, trying to escape, only a mask attending

With tears running down his face, not painted, not fake, the real ones you see

The wet emotion of depression kept locked up inside, only to pretend, it will never be
