Thank you (If only for a moment)

Life has a way of taking from us,

Those which warms our cold,

Life has a way of springing on us

Years which renders us old.

But with these years comes wisdom,

Accompanied by lessons well learned,

This progress in time, well on our side,

Life’s a lock you’re the key, just turn.

Senior citizen I am, still a child of God, his

lamb, to be herded and shown the way.

You have given me hope, a life once again to cope

and the strength, to live again, another day.

Dearest Shah, Shirley, WiIliam, Tina,

Connie, Morris, Susan and many more,

I owe to you, from my true deep soul,

With hearts of pure gold, you control.

Love and thanks, from a mother,

Whose life, you allowed, once again.

Be given, truest of meaning and

In her hands, to forever again she holds.

Lifes true meanings, comes in many forms

And in this case it came in the form of you all,

 Without knowledge of me, nor my existence,

You all placed, forward prayers of power, hope

And encouragement, upon my path of despair

Hence, uplifting a lonely, lost elderly ladies

Chances of life, once known to be misplaced,

Lost and by me, thought to be forgotten. I will

Forever love you all and in my prayers, shall

Your blessed hearts be filled with the gifts,

Only to be rendered, through the sincere

Deliverance of Christ himself…….
