Its' that time of year again..
I'm trying to find a harmonious rhyme.
How 2020 has gone so quick..
Can you beleive it's Chrismas time!?

It's been a really hard year..
That couldn't be more true.
But I wouldn't have gotten through it..
And that's purely because of you.

It's been a mixed bag of emotions..
Looking back I have moments of regret.
Thankyou for standing by me.
This year I will never forget.

It will always be part of history..
The word I hate to say..
The virus that changed the world..
And took so many lifes away.

It stole away our freedom..
Caused poverty, anger and despair.
People have forgotten how to smile..
It will take time and patience to repair.

So as the new year approaches..
Who knows what's around the bend..
But there is one thing I can count on..
And that is you're with me my dear friend.
