The Ageing Process

The Ageing Process

My skin has become like sandpaper
Blotches showing up everywhere
A pimple resides at the end of my nose
Some areas have unwanted hair

What is happening to this body of mine
Seems it's just about falling apart
Ankles are swollen to twice their size
Been expelling a whole lot of farts

It's referred to as the ageing process
Is this what's in store from now on
No more of this sleeping to noon
Always up at the crack of dawn

Needing to pee three times a night
My back teeth are floating around
Cramps in my legs are driving me nuts
And my PJs keep falling down

A hell of a mess this ageing process
Not a damn thing a person can do
Hang in there my friends, it won't be long
The grim reaper will be calling on you!

The poem by Jack by his rawness as by the real it gives me chills, while our bodies collapse our minds create wings that want to fly, life does not place each in its rightful place, that crash can be gradual as the Palaces of Venice or the forcefulness of the New York Twin Towers, death is always the main situation so that each person occupies its rightful place within the cosmos.

Jack says:

“Mi piel se ha vuelto como papel de lija con manchas que aparecen por todas partes, en la punta de mi nariz reside una espinilla y algunas áreas de mi cuerpo van perdiendo el vello”

Mr Jack anyway and for many farts that stick, by many cramps you have, thank you for that it can tell with that self-confidence, that irony and that worthy of a Sage fortitude.

Greetings and lots of patience, always walked forward although the life we exceed and go leaving us very... back.
