The Blame Game

The Blame Game

Who is right
And who is wrong
The outside or the inside
When you find out who you are
And that your whole life was a lie.
It's just a dream
Or is this a nightmare?
I guess only I can decide.
I need to remember I have a choice
And I choose to swallow my pride.
To be happy is all that you need to seek
For money and fame will pass.
But happiness cannot be stolen
Unless you allow fear to surpass.
So enjoy your lives
Don't do as I do
Just love one another
As I have loved you.
This is all in your mind after all
So remember the choice is yours.
Don't let pain or fear or even death
Overtake you in the dark.
Never give in and always shine
And never miss the mark.
Be joyful not sad and empty like me
And yet does your joy depend on me?
Because after everything
Aren't we all just lovers
Both slave and free?
Brides and grooms
Run away or stay?
You are bound to someone
Death will marry you
If you do not choose love.
Yet rarely do we realise we have another choice..
Go solo! Marry yourself! Love yourself!

Very well written
yes we all make choices everyday
Sometimes the choice is good other times
It's not so good if you look deep within and yourself you can
have solace I found that out after
Trial and error I am also a believer
In God which in turn has helped me along the road of life solo you might
Say ? angel.
