Poem -

The Broken Hearted Pudding

I was wrapped in tartan
And tied with a bow
And I travelled on the train
In the rein and the snow

I was dressed for a party
But you were all in green
And there wasn't any custard
Or cream to be seen

So you eat me naked
And took a nibble each day
And there wasn't and Christmas
Or games to play

Just a lonely house
With no presents round a tree
So the turkey must  have lived
But now there isn't any me

The Forgotten Garden

This garden that looks forgotten
Was once a happy place
Home to chickens, dogs and bunnies...

where I could be me

where I could be me

I used to have a little place
Where I could just be me
A humble field that didn't belong...

Because as a pup
In the garden you would dig
For worms and bugs...
