The Downside of In Between

Stuck is an understatement in nomads land.
Nobody around with a helping hand.

Loneliness, Ha!
Try being here
In between nowhere
with no words to hear.

Which way should I go?
Is there any way out?
I’m blinded by darkness
and muted to shout.

I’ll keep my hopes up
and pray for a sign
from someone out there
where the sun surely shines.

Give me something to find
I’ve been here way too long.
The downside of this place
defies meaning of wrong.

Trapped and terrified may go hand in hand
so emotionless is where I must stand.
If I ever get out I will share this write
But for now I’m tired
so from me its goodnight.
