The Forgotten Angel

The Forgotten Angel

Bowing down on one knee with his staff in hand

Trying to forget his past transgressions

While walking these savage wastelands

Taking the narrow road seemed easy enough to do

Until satan came calling to bury your most cherished truths

Was told many wondrous lies by the angel of light

Only to be lead into darkness the rest of his wretched life

He cannot change the course of his journey this much is true

Repent to God hoping He will erase your misgivings from the enteral view

As tears roll gently down his cheeks

Will God ultimately save his soul or is he into deep?

Written directly from the heart this splendid work clearly shows how far you are willing to commit emotion and feeling to the page.
You have come a great distance since you started the Cosmofunnel journey with this piece demonstrating your fine use of phrasing to underpin a strong message.
Thanks for sharing this. It is a tremendous achievement.
Wishing you the very best my friend.
