Poem -
The Junk Drawer
You know that drawer that everyone has;
The one that’s filled to the brim with the most random of things.
That to anyone else just looks like trash, cause only YOU see the true worth of its contents?
Aye
well my head feels like that sometimes;
I hoard all the things that once served me.
But Ive let it create a girl so exhaustingly uninspired that even she’s began questioning it’s worthy
So I’m making the decision to let go.
I need that space now for something new.
As I make a start to this years spring clean I’ll be clearing my head and my heart with it too
