The Night Whispers

My heart is pounding, like the rush of buffalo hooves across the wide pastures
I can hear your words, as the cool of the wind touches my face, I smile at the sky
As the autumn leaves, of amber, burnt orange, crackle, as they blow and tumble down
Your skin, next to mine, your eyes cherish my soul, as I fall deep into your arms
When your native spear, hunts the wild rabbit, we do not hunger, we survive
The night whispers your name, it belongs to me, it is the spirit of your voice, it gives me life
Through the giant pine trees, under the moonlight, the great horned owl, turns his head
The wolf and her pups, make den to sleep, as the calling of her mate gets nearer, I listen to the howl
As I lie down, the gentle touch of your fingers, draw back my raven black braids, I feel your kiss
Each time I bathe in a pool of ecstasy, with my arms wrapped around your naked back, deeply I breathe
As the night whispers, my name, it calls to you, where you shall find my lips, I shall find yours, forever our bleeding hearts bliss
