THE OUTER SHELL OF ME
The outer shell, the covering
It veils the soul of me
My own unique expression
Of who I want to be
I'm colorful, flamboyant
I'm going to shine, be me
My outer shell only conveys
Who I wish to be
So please don't judge the cover
If you don't like what you see
Look beyond the outer shell
And see the mystery of me
