The Playoffs Are Here-Go Patriots

Another season now has ended, the playoffs today begin;
For the record setting tenth year straight, our Patriots are in!
This week, they won’t be playing, for they get a first round bye;
Eight teams will now be battling, for four spots, they will vie!

We will watch the games together, me and my football crazy wife;
Just as voracious a fan as I am, what a gift for a husband’s life!
For most guy’s spouses eschew it, on their couches all alone;
While their ladies are complaining, “This game I don’t condone”!

But every Sunday we watch our NFL, from afternoon till night;
To have a woman so very loyal, brings me perpetual delight!
We are hoping that our Patriots, win the Super Bowl of football;
But me and my dear wife Linda, are the greatest team of all!
