The quickest, easiest option

The quickest, easiest option

If you could die would you?
If you could end all the pain, all the suffering.
Would you?

Many would and many do.

But you went through so much pain and loss,
so why would you stop now when you are so close.

So close to that idea, to that dream,
So close to the light after so much darkness
So close yet if you could, you would end it all.

Why do we, as a species go through so much pain,
So much loss. Just to give up, because its too hard,
or its happened for too long, and that the light is never going to come.

But it is, and you are so close,
But you just can't see it.

If you could die would you?
If you could end all the pain, all the suffering.
Would you?

Many would and many do.

Because we are always looking
for the quickest, easiest way to do something.

And by choosing to end it,
we are choosing the quickest and easiest option.

It stops all the pain and suffering immediatly,
but by choosing to end the pain, you are also ending all the happiness,
the love, the laughter that is or could be.

If you could die would you?
If you could end all the pain, all the suffering.
Would you?

Many would and many do.

But is it really worth it?
