The Shades of Passion

Violet purple iris, fill the fields across the velvet green emerald valleys, the canary yellow finch carries her twig for nesting
My eyes look across the mountains, and I long to hold your hand, with your stallion spirit, and my shy ivory fawn features, enticing
My horse will follow the trail, when the eagle lands, at the top of the cliff, I will know your strength, I will be watching for your staff
The shades of passion, the color of our blood, the fire, the heat, the flames, with every smoke signal, I can see your face burning, my way
The hunt of the buffalo, to bring feast to our tribe, you are the warrior, you are the earth, and the sky, the water, that I drink
To wash my legs in the stream, as my pinto drinks, I lay on the slate gray rock, and day dream, restless, I fall to sleep, as I whisper your name
When I awaken, I feel the warmth of tender lips, across my forehead, then down my neck, to my shoulders, and I quiver, my feet wrap around your legs
As I open my eyes, I see you kneeling before me, with your burnt umber skin, and your staff of feathered honor, pitched next to my heart
The shades of passion, fill me up, as you pick me up gently, into your arms, I become limp, and the red fire, in my flesh, becomes hot lust, for your native desire

So very tenderly written but with red hot passion, definitely smouldering.
