The Volcano

The Volcano

Looming over me
a descending curse
is upon my being,

pleasant fear and joy
strike the heart,
the moon tides
are relentless,

rising and falling
bathed in waves
of ebb and flow,
craving for summit peace,
the panting air
begins to slow,

red dawn sky
fire storms within abate,
deep ocean distant
of raw silken sand
that kisses and grates
upon the grainy
rock that bites,

across the eternal realms
of sun´s time aglow,
the calling, whispering,
imploring shell
in burning lava flow.
