Poem -

The Wandering Mind

The Sky
acknowledges
Earth’s
presence.

Shared
glares with
competitive
twinkles.

Grins exchanged
between static bodies,
parallels
that met.

Earths mind
an adventurer,
wandering with
endless streams.

Possibilities
blossoming like
rose buds
in spring

frozen in
reality with
perpetual
winters.

Sky’s mind
obscured
by grey
clouds.

Truths
shrouded behind
growling thunder
fronts.

Flashing
ribbons illuminate
seconds of
clarity.

The Earth,
The sky,
tacit minds
lost in exploration.

Ignorant
to another’s
identical
destination,

they question,
another’s
ability to
venture.

Both caught,
on the could
have been
that couldn’t be.
