They are Here

They are Here

Under the bridge it lives, it has been there for a million years

Washed up from an abandoned boat, told it was a haunted ship

Ship wrecked with the dead of the curse, the shameful captain

Who beheaded his mates on the deck, first they would hang and cut

Loose with his blackened sword, his blade the devils tool, falling

Into the drench and hole beneath the the plank to the waters of hell

A pirate ship with the scallywags at rivers end, the end of all who sin

The bodies left behind, the head was kept for trophies sake the win

Now underneath this damned overpass bridge of spoiled souls of the past

As you cross over the bridge, you can see the ship at sail, with bodies

Hanging, and cries that exceed the most hideous feel of moaning bloody agony

Legend has it, if you stop upon the bridge at night you will be pulled into the river

Drowning and then your head severed until the river turns blood red as the captain

Calls out with his chains he weighs you down into his treasure chest of blunted heads

Below the bridge the waters run deeper into the dredged guts of the haunted

They are Here
