Hi Sweet Larry....There is nothing more rewarding than a protege being appreciated by her master....It's gratifying to know the master thinks highly of my Haiku....Thanks so much Sweet Larry...This means so much to me. Your words have made my day....
Hi, rose not a particular fan of these i have a nick name for them i call themย lazy poetry. that being said i actually enjoyed this one, told how it is in eleven words, impressed.
Hi Jeff.....LOL....it's not as easy as it looks.....I realised over time that it is easier to do the other poems than Haiku....Thanks for reading and enjoying it. I'm delighted that I finally get to impress you.......
Loved the Haiku and quite far, are they to be the most thought on poem to be,ย a popular genre of Japanese linked verse,...You just can't throw a few words on the white canvass and allow them to represent, (in just those few words), the meaning of a full fledged (Haiku). Its ofย the fewest number in words, with a complete understanding of the poem,ย in its short meaning and still you must come up with a poem of this quality...Many stay away from this form of poem because it is harder than it looks and you can't just throw any old words out there and just because the amount of words, reside withinย the threshold, of theย required specified amountย of words and lines, in the poem, in order to stake its claim, as aย qualityย haikuย but this my friend, is a clearly understood haiku poem, in its delivery and of its caliber... Clearly understood is its meaning.. There's about (55) forms of poetry, (be it a regular rhyme poem, free style, epitaph, concrete, epic limerick, narrative, name and so on..... To me conventional poetry, is quite easy but the haiku remains the most sacred and rarest thing in the world ofย poetry: A world-famous beloved verse form, practiced by seriousย poets,ย haiku refers to the freestanding (5-7-5) form, which is considered the most artistic and desirable part of the (haikai ).Of all poetic forms,ย the haikuย stands as one of the most elegant and immediate โ A true rarity, for those who takes the opportunity, to master this particular poem...I am flattered and can appreciate, that you did it in (11) words and in the three required lines, with a clear understanding roaring-ly attached....
Hey Jim....you obviously know so much about poetry and the Haiku.....It looks very easy but I've come to realize over time that it's one of the most difficult poem to write...To capture emotion in just three line with seventeen syllables....but it is also fun to write....Thanks to Larry Ran (my tutor)....I wouldn't have been able to write Haiku..one beautiful thing about you is that you take your time to read and analyse poems...I find that to be very encouraging....you are one of a kind Jim....Thanks so much
