Time ?⏰⏱

Time
the one army we can’t defeat
no matter how much we put up a fight
it'll always win
some try and fight time head on
other try to hide from it
but it’s silent
only ever heard by the tick tock of a nearby clock

we’ll swear to ourselves that we won’t waste it
but an hour after that we’re down the pub wasted 
taking photos and videos that capsules time so later we can dream we’re back there

time flows past us all no matter old or small
we all look for someone to share that time with 
but some never find them

me?
ill keep looking for that person that stops time whenever I’m near
that person who I’ll think about when my time comes to an end

im not scared of you time.
