Time Tells

Time Tells

Moments, minutes, ticking away, the clock won't stop

Time tells me, I have lost love, broken heart, pain, grief, no where can I see

Where has love gone? Did it fly away, did it sprout wings, and where did it go?

If I could share time, I would share it with you, to tell you all of my feelings

Bottled up in notes, in love letters, unread, instead I give you my body

My mind, I set it free, for today and tomorrow, time tells, tells me, this time I won't let you go

Forever yours, forever mine, I hold you tight, come inside and play the notes so sweetly

Our song, our dance, will last as the time draws near, I fall into your arms, my dear

I beg the time to stand still, just for the love of it all, so completely fulfilled
