Timeless Beauty

They say, "Beauty is fleeting"
But, "Time is of the Essence"
So I pause in my thinking to decipher the message....
Essence-
-The intrinsic nature of existence
As the clock ticks
We risk, wasting time on
'The Beauty' of things that lack ESSENCE
Beauty-
-An aesthetic sight that pleases the senses
If unchecked by the proper priorities
It distracts from the true quality of life
Possibly altering character
When beauty is sought
Even if, for a fleeting moment

"Age before Beauty"
As it seems, deemed to be  lighthearted humor in pleasantry
But, when insight is gained
Rephrases its aim
To compliment those with the wisdom sustained though age
Released from the bondage of vanity
Having lived long enough to know the tricks of trade
Without trading the inner beauty of integrity
Stunning fashion sense
being enhanced by the confidence of your presence
But absent of arrogance
More familiar with the resemblance of elegance
Balanced, selective with a hint of possessive
Possessing the rarity in the "Beauty of Age"
