Death To Our Earth

Death To Our Earth

Why are we all offended,
At stuff we didn't care of before,
Why is there now such a large gap,
Between the rich and struggling poor.

We know we are killing the planet,
But can it really be resolved,
Why do we still have a third world,
Where technology has not evolved.

Plastics are getting washed up,
On our neighbouring island shores,
Not everyone cares about recycling,
It's one of many environmental wars.

Where do you stand in a clean up,
Will you restore our Earth's dying breath,
Or would you leave it all for someone,
And continue to contribute to its death?

Don't think about yourself think of others,
The ones who will inherit the Earth,
The next generation should be educated,
And start it just after their birth.
