Touch

Touch

For Jason

A touch is more than simple skin to skin

Contact with another, whose closest by

No single thing compares, nothing  akin

Yet touch is not all felt or seen by eye

Often touch can be sensed, only by heart

With some surprising ripples of effect

In time a longing yearn that’s far apart

A touch that only two, they can detect

So touch is not always as it seems

A mind can be enlightened with its hook

Tender is the join that is redeemed

The touch is not seldom by the book

When such material touch is far away

Consider what is had that very day

A mind can be enlightened with its hook

I am so touched ... in so many ways.

My Dear Lorna,

.

My heartfelt quest that I wish to do

Is to touch the very soul of you

And if you feel the love we share

I promise I'll be forever there

.

Hugs, Peace and Love,
