Standing in the silence

Beneath the flashing light

Emptiness inside me, it’s cold.

My mind is kinda empty

Save this heavy kinda dulliness

Fading in and out of me.

Stepping closer to the edge

The gates are going down

The lights are flashing red.

Speeding through the night

The stillness in my head

Will they see me?

Can they notice something isn’t right?

I’m jumping off the side

I’m falling from the edge

The screaming words inside me

To end the bitterness

The rush of air against my face
