Tremors

A great tremor overtook me;
tears filled my eyes but I couldn't let them fall.
I tried to hold it back, I tried to stay strong but it lead me to beĀ
suffocating on my own tears.
My eyes bled with pain,
I bled the salt from my soul as it poured out of my eyes.
I could no longer hold the heartbreak and heavy sadness filled my soul.
As the tears poured endlessly down my ashen cheeks, I began to realize that solitude really is the best medicine.
