To every family of the missing,
I know that you continue wishing.
Unanswered questions have left you sad,
you pray to hear something good not bad.

Do the detectives continue the task?
after so many years have past.
They carried the burden as days slipped away,
then an unsolved mystery was left on display.

Shrine's with a candle, does God hear your prayer?
the world seemed to move on without giving a care.
But I know you look for that face in the crowd
and long for the day you can call a name out loud.

That moment where they may emerge from the dark,
and leave behind evil that tore them apart.
So I think of the families that may never know,
why their loved ones were lost, so long ago,
