I read the same line twice already

should I check again, make sure it is steady...

Poetry to me is not a form

but formulation of words, not very long.

Sonnets and prose and free verse too

my head is spinning, how about you...

I been ridiculed many a time,

I don't even rhyme right,

my favorite kind.

I am not a rhymer, but a near rhyming sort,

I like it this way, I'm happy to report.

I write from my mind, and not my heart,

you have a problem with me? then tear my work apart...

Keep your trojans and all that other stuff,

my syllable counts are often kinda rough.

In the end, when my pen hits the paper,

I get my point across, like smooth as silk caper...

aa bb what the fuck is this,

let me bend on over....
