Poem -

Two Different Princes

Sloppy kisses that are disgusting
I still feel the ick on my glossy lips
You looked like prince charming
Until you hit me like an unstable incel
I can’t be controlled, and I won’t be tricked!
By autumn eyes that turn into hurricanes
I escaped that dream turn ugly nightmare
Into another more pleasant journey
On a green bus I travelled with a different man
Someone who made me feel safe
His irises soft with an amber glint
We talked and debated our thoughts.
His touch felt warm, careful, and gentle against my hand
As we stopped at different towns and stations
Over the ticking clock of this dream
I felt myself wanting his lips against my own
Desiring more from him than colorful stories
I wanted to confess before this fantasy ended.
At the last stop I confronted him, his figure towered,
My heart hammered.
He questioned me.
His eyes demanding an answer.
I pressed my lips against his
without fear or forethought
His mouth felt right, not sticky and gross,
But like angel wings against my face.

Hello K.G...

They say we dream for 3-4 minutes...

It sure feels longer than that doesn't it?

I wouldn't want to wake up at the second part...

The first part I would have thought that must have been my dog...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hey Sparrow,

It feels like hours,

Nether did I,

I could still feel the sensation on my lips when I woke up,
A bad kiss in a dream feels realer and yuckier.

Thank you :)

Much love,
K.G.
