Understand The Writer In Me

Pages continue to scatter
as words sweep in and out of my conscious state,
they await their moment to evolve.
Like a puzzle the alphabet dances,
the words begin to settle on a master plan,
Thoughts take on new meaning,
they are captured through the minds depths.
This new journey is about to take centre stage,
refusing to sit at the back shelf of my mind,
The unfamiliar becomes the familiar in a setting from beyond.
Time has set the scene, the characters come to life. 
Forever they will lay immortal through existence.
The ending becomes surreal as the pen falls from my hand
It had seemed like forever it had  borrowed my time, 
Then piece by piece the secrets unveil,
until at last an open story reveals,
and with it brings an understanding of the writer in me.
