Unknown

Unknown

With red dotted lines
She is paying all the fines
They are collected every night
She gives in without a fight.

There are letters under the bed
Written because of words never said
Did they never say "I love you?"
was she always misconstrued?

They never cared in the old school hall
They never acted upon the warnings they saw
Will they care when they hear the news?
Will they look back and remember the clues?

Has she passed forgotten and unknown?
The stitches on her wrists have broke, sadness so deep cannot be sown.

Is she forgotten?
Is she unknown?
