VANQUISH

Bound by an absolute sun
Where daylight breaks
Upon..
Everyone..

Arid oceans
Wave over scorched sands
A formidable furnace
For the cremated lands

Burnt to oblivion
The crumbling flesh
Now smouldering in
An oasis of ash

Utter heat consumes the world
Where long ago
A moon unfurled
And brought the hot collapsing day
Into the night
Away from suns rays

Alas this fated realm now lies
Dessicated...
Beneath the searing eyes
Of an absolute
Eternal sun
No place to run.....
Dusted and done.
