War

War

Where do we stop?
If it isn't today,
Stop letting fear sway,
And control us from every path along the way,

When are we free,
From this ruthless cage,
To be able to get away,
From this sort of aggression and rage,

When do we begin to feel?
And to see the brighter days,
The setting sun and the vibrant rays,
When are we truly free?

Why does it seem?
That this world is torn,
It is filled with hatred and scorn,
Who buried the humanity?

A question arises , will I be accepted?
As I come,
Or will I be shunned,
Like my forefathers before me?

Please given an answer Mr Trump,
What has this world done to deserve,
This kind of bad blood,
Has money and power blinded your heart?

My fellow sister and brothers and their families are being torn apart,
What has the innocent done to deserve?
This kind of "tough love",
Tearing families and burning roads, even a child would be able to say leads to war,

This world is neither yours or mine to take,
We came into this world with love and it is our duty to spread it around,
And we specially don't have the right to build borders and walls,
The last time I checked the colour of the blood was same in us all.

For a few rotten apples you don't burn a tree,
You throw away the diseased and let the pure remain free.
