Mother

Mother

Mother please help me stand,
Mother please don’t let go of my hand,
Please guide me along the road I take,
Just tell me that ill make it out safe,

Give me the strength to fight the thunders,
The courage to walk through the rain,
And when I can’t no more,Β
Mother, just hold me tight and tell me everything will be ok,

Mother you taught me to live,
Mother you taught me to give,
Endlessly you sacrificed so you could see me smile,
Mother you taught me the true meaning of life,

Like you taught me to never bow down,
To this world I stand strong,
But Mother I am your little child,
There will be days as this day when tears will flood my eyes,

I know wherever you maybe,
You’ll be watching over me,
Telling me to never give up,
Pushing me on, one step at time,

And even in the harshest conditions you’ll be the one to make me smile,
Mother Ill make you proud whatever I do.
