WAS IT ALWAYS TODAY-------

Pretty butterfly stickers
on a dusty window pane
shadows in suits like outside games
portals flooded by wooden trojan horses
swing in bridged opening gaps
she pushed hard
on the evening rush
bent and bending
pointed in trust
injected injection invited rejection
watched this wand
ease into distrust

folded sheets raised on a mounded grave
stains reciting the savior's name
punished yet unfinished
blighted but eaten and grown
such a small little bone
twilight in its twisted degree
turns the clock
betrays the frozen free

her tongue explores
each broken cave of rotted truth
dreaming stone idols
sinking beneath sold mud and blood
night brings the friend
never seen
just sits waited on
threatened in edited end
reason loves the very last page

on a tomb
was written
WAS IT ALWAYS
TODAY

Ripples in the dark

Artwork by my wife (some 25 years old oilpainting)

Ripples in the dark

Evening quiet rules the room,

calms me down after all...

Time is our Frenemy

Time is our Frenemy

We can learn anything we want
