Poem -
WELL WISHES
A penny for my thoughts
Thrown into a wishing well
What is it you want to know?
And am I prepared to tell?
I am not a stage performer
Accepting dollars in my garter
Maybe share your dreams with me
And then our wishes, we can barter
For I once left myself open
So many pennies thrown
They lay deep and still
Inside my 'sole'
Shining all alone
I have so much to offer
There's no need to take from you
But I can only share myself from now
With those who show they're true
So if you can accept me
Then let us lead the way
Together sharing each other
We'll make a new wish every day
