What rules

When you call me retarded and laugh in my faceÂ
When it always my fault so your always on my case
You hit me infront of other then say sorry to them
That then ruined it no more perfect ten
I literally do it all but not good enough
Your actions see me stronger but you hate seeing me tough
Maybe a narcissist, I do all I can
Just critism galore infront of your fam
Maybe I’m awake I don’t want to move
But if it heals my bruises then they I’ll sootheÂ

A narcissist sees no fault in themselves, they cannot be reasoned with, they see no wrong, only wrong in others, they are perfect in every way, the only relationship they seek is one with themselves, there is no room for you, so step aside and live your life without them.Â
Narcissists are impossible to have a lasting relationship with. They get you to fall in love with them by seemingly being everything you want. They generally choose good people because good people see, well, they see the good in others. But narcs change. You can be there world one minute, or so they say, then you are simply nothing to them. They are users. They only out for themselves. The trouble with them is that you only see the red flags once you are no longer of use to them. They turn out to be not the person you thought them to be. The person you fell in love with is not who they actually are and that is the reason break ups with these sorts are always, always difficult to deal with. By the time they dont want you anymore your mind is well and truly f*cked. I wish you well and I wish you strength. Great poem x
