WHEN DECEMBER CRIED

WHEN DECEMBER CRIED

Desolate wind, an icy chill; All stood still when December cried. Seasons did end, the pain was real; Numb to feel when December cried. Tears painted in frost, a love was lost; A lesson taught when December cried. A voice had faded in the storm as snowflakes the dark sky did adorn; A poignant story, then, was born when December cried. Echoes ceased within the glades, the fog then laid to rest that day; Winter fell like gorgeous rain when December cried. And OH! The mournful sound of she as it danced upon the naked trees! Secrets swept into the breeze when December cried. Footprints hidden on the ground beneath the snow white silent sound of hollow hearts left to be found when December cried. The leaves bled out and shed their skin, preparing for the cold again; Hiding whispers of their sins when December cried. Frozen feelings slipped away as dawn developed teeth that day; Senseless words his tongue did say when December cried. She bowed her head and wept with shame at the mention of his name; And her life has never been the same since December cried...
