When We Leave

When We Leave

What shall the earth be, when we leave, it will be quiet

It will be a solitude of contempt, with no disappointing feelings

The earth will be so calm, it will no longer be bright, it will be darkened

By the flames ashes and the gut wrenching feeling of forbidden hate

The world not of peace but of blame and shame, with bewildered mystery

Of the last moments spent in time and in space, when we leave, we will be missed

For the life has been kissed by the angels, and it should not be ridden by the devil

Where shall we begin again, but know this is not the last stone that has been tossed

Into the furnace of a blackened tunnel of lost criminal disease and matter of energy lost
