Why Wonder?

I am 32
He is 52
wondering like, how come?
Is what they seem to do.
They don't understand it was predestined
And I don't care to interject them
See, years ago I had a little girl
Who was born with a heart abnormality
She had to have open heart surgery
And a G tube placed so that she could eat
I had to learn how to care for my special child
Then she took a turn for the worst
She died unexpectedly
And the next two I conceived rejected me
I gave up, with babies far from my mind
Met a new mate and although we weren't trying
I got pregnant right away
And to my surprise, she came to stay
But soon she had a runner up
A baby sister, and just as tough
So yeah, he had two little girls
With a 32 year Goddess with tight lil curls
But you don't know nothing, so you sit and talk shit
You live in the past, and watch us while we dip
Yeah I have an older Gentleman
Who was my lover and became my best friend
He provides plenty for me and I for him
He's the leader of our family
And we really don't give a damn about what think or see.
