WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES......
WE SEEK SPACE

Where once the cliffs of difference stood so high,
And shadows stretched, beneath a judging sky,
We seek a space, where hearts may freely roam,
A level shore, where all can call it home.
The "coastal plain," a metaphor we weave,
Where every soul, a shared sunrise receives.
No mountain's pride, nor valley's deep despair,
But gentle slopes, where all find beauty's air.
The tides of feeling, wash upon the sand,
A shared emotion, held in every hand.
For love's vast ocean, knows no rank or creed,
But mirrors back, the human heart's true need.
The beauty found, in every face we meet,
A tapestry of stories, bittersweet.
No single hue, can claim a brighter grace,
But every shade, reflects a sacred space.
Let anger's storm, and prejudice's night,
Give way to dawn, where all are bathed in light.
The "coastal plain" of empathy extends,
Where love's horizon, equally descends.
No crown of power, nor chains of old design,
Can dim the spirit, that in all does shine.
For in the heart's true landscape, we agree,
That equal love, is what we're meant to be.
