I cannot smile on you,
For I am in love
With my life
I cannot break my bones,
For I am in love
With my hands,
I cannot work on my verses,
For I am in love
With my dreams,
I cannot sleep on my bed,
For I cannot stand
Ā The terrible pain,
This is my vital rhyme,
For I am a simple soul
Suffering with Lyme.

NOTE:
Effective from today, the 1st of January, 2015, I wish to commence with a new poetry column titled as " Lyme Rhymes " as a tribute to our honorable Poetess Valerie Lynn, who is now suffering with a unusual disease named as " Lyme "
My mission is to ensure that everyone in this world with this kind of rare disease has a common circle to share their feelings and love each other and to connect with others by way of writing poems and stories in this site.
Lyme disease, Lyme borreliosis, which is in the full name is an infectious disease caused by at least three species of bacteria belonging to the genenus Borrelia. Ā It is transmitted via the bite of an infected tick. Early symptoms may include fever, headache and fatigue- WILLIAMSJI MAVELI

AWW THIS IS THE BEST THING ANYONE HAS EVER DONE FOR ME!! It brought instant tears to my eyes for I feel so alone in this battle with Chronic Lyme disease. If you don't have it you will never understand the hardships I face on a daily basis. It has been 5 long years now, 3 of which I have been bedridden due to this debilitating disease. I have another appointment on the 7th and I am trying to remain positive but I know there will be surgery involved. I do not take any type of painkillers and I am not strong when it comes to pain. I would love to be able to reach out to others who are suffering as well. The suicide rate among Lyme patients is growing by the minute and it is such a scary thought. Williamsji, you have brought so much joy to my life and I cannot thank you enough!! I am going to repost my Lyme story once I update it a little more. Much Love to You BigBro!! ā„
Dear Poetess Valerie Lynn,
As I am a beginner to know more about the Lyme disease, during its early infection, many people experience a flu-like illness that may clear up without treatment. Some people get a rash around the area of the tick bite. Most of the time the rash is an ordinary red area, however if it is a bullās-eye shape with a darker edge, it is a definite sign of Lyme disease and needs immediate treatment. Unfortunately this distinctive rash is uncommon.
I shall continue to scribble poems to spread the awareness of the disease as a part of my poetry activities,

I noticed the rash but it was too late for me. I didn't know what the rash meant so IĀ figured nothing of it. I went years without treatment and that's how I became bedridden. There is a major difference between Lyme disease and Chronic Lyme disease. Unfortunately I have Chronic with no cure. The IV therapy only made me worse. I have been in and out if the hospital for years now. I just need a miracle to be able to manage the debilitating symptoms.Ā
Dear Poetess Flower Girl,
Many thanks and love for your appreciation and support in this regard.
Love & Hugs
WILLY
