Wings of the Night

Like the falling star, I sweep through the night, to find your place

A place in your heart, dear to my flight, as I look upon your velvet skin

I find you in my dreams, I begin to love you, more and more, as I soar

With the wings of the night, I find my eyes not open, closed in thought

Wondering why, letting go, now I must take you in my arms, so we may fly

My native soul, weary for your touch, your strength in your hands on my flesh

The night hawk is with us, in our wakening moments of lust, and will bestow

Into the moonlight, and heaven stars, no other will ever know

As we begin our journey of an everlasting peace, to love, to be, to see everything

With you, I no longer search, for I have found you, once again

My eyes, now open wide, your breath, I take in mine, its wind swept

Into my lungs, we are one, in love, let us begin, our flight

With our wings of the night, lift us up, into a spectacular feeling of envy.
