Poem -
Winter Chill
Bitter frosty brutal wind,
A blanket of crisp white snow.
Darkest depths of winter seeps,
where nothing will ever grow.
Freezing remote december,
Surfaces smooth, we slither!
Tender Christmas warmth reaps
Joyful tidings delivered
Frozen wispy snowflakes float,
padding soft on solid ground.
Silencing busy landscapes,
Beauty will always astound.
Messages of peaceful hope,
warming (festive) season's cold.
Merry cheer, sees us through, with
Treasured songs of new and old.

Ha, its cold here too but not quite so bad but my word the wind is blowing across the sea and harbour write into my garden .. We very rarely get snow or even heavy frost ..

we dont get a great deal of snow, but frost...mornings trying to de ice the car is a regular treat! Haha xxx

Well the forecast is saying we're going to have a white xmas, but it's a tad on the warm side for the white stuff I think...but we do have a a few gales blowing at the min so ...maybe they bring the snow along with the plummeting temperatures 4❄🥶🥶

Lorna I hope it's proven otherwise for you up there and your family around you.
Kids would be happy snow bunnies.
You stand a better chance, a much better chance than me down here.
Many people have never seen one but would welcome one over Christmas.
And yes the wind was blowing a bit down here and our next door neighbour's are abroad throughout Christmas and they asked us to keep an eye on the place for them and their Tesla car on the drive under a blowing tarpaulin which would shame the biggest sail in the Spanish Armada and a deafening flapping noise, in the unforgiving wind.
And if I remove that protective tarpaulin...then it's bound to snow! 🥶
Keep watching the BBC weather and your fingers crossed for even a dusting.🥶

Ooh a predicament ..you could remove it to guarantee a bit of a dusting hahaha...your neighbor's might be a tad annoyed though when their jazzy Tesla gets ....I dont know what will happen to it??
