Winters Love Story

Winters Love Story

Dark are the winters night the sky in its midnight blue almost black

Clouds float faintly over the yellow golden moon, shapes of mystery they glide

Into the shadows of the stars where angels dare to spread their wings so divine

As you whisper sweet nothings into my ear we lay naked by the fireplace with fleece

Thrown over just our backs, now we neck until the honeycombs melt away our love

So soft, so sweet, so tender, and then the flames of winters cold it heats the room

Let the rug beneath us burn with the passion of the oohs and awes of the touch

Night of winter bring us this feeling of love and take it to the next volume of a story to be told
