~Wisdom Welcome~

~Wisdom Welcome~

O’, can you hear their grievous groans;
the howls and wails of soulless drones?
Of bards before who’ve come and gone.
While bodies rot, their words live on.

Yet, is it merely happenstance
that you’d be reading this, per chance?
For what you read, forever more
could unlock dreams, wrench wide the door.

Bold biased cretins often claim,
forsake emotion, douse the flame
imbuing ingenuity.
Fools feed off ambiguity.

Their minds are closed, objections false,
creativeness has done the waltz.
A dance of death, which I abhor,
their minds are closed, they’ve barred the door.

Those thresholds must be crossed, you see,
enabling opportunity
to those in life who want much more,
to give us wings with which to soar.

To those of you whose plans and schemes
rely on hopes and bigger dreams;
write as you wish—please—I implore.
It's wisdom that holds wide the door.
