WOMAN...THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT

In love with a woman I cannot have

for her love, is devoted to another

I fantasize about this lady,

how enticing it is to want her

 if only she knew, the burning desire

that amounts inside this vessel of me

electrifying, the feelings received every time,

 she smiles and speaks to me

there's no way he can do her body

justice the way I can

no way can he satisfy that burning desire

that she has for this man

a forbidden fruit, is what she represents

touch but don't taste, i see deep in her eyes

taste but don't endulge, written across her body

how the sweat glistens under the candle light

yet and still she belongs to someone other than I

so all I can do is admire from a distance
