You can Make a Difference
I went out today and discovered with dismay
the world we are in is in dire need…not faraway
People around us in dire need of love, not underplay
food, clothes, shelter, shoes and things they can’t keep at bay
You don’t need to be rich to touch someone
As the person might not need money but affection
You don’t need to be a doctor to go into action
as just a smile can cure the person’s affliction
You don’t need to be a Lawyer to defend somebody
just being there when there is nobody
and an encouragement can be the remedy
You don’t need to have it all to be anybody’s buddy
You can give a smile or just give your time
You can lend a hand or wipe a tear...not a crime
You can have someone share your mealtime
A blanket would help most especially now ..Wintertime
You might just be that miracle someone need
You can make a difference today
