Your Voice
That voice I hear when I close my eyes,
I am breathless, I sigh, I am mesmerized.
Your voice so tender it speaks to my heart,
So soft, but rugged it tears my world apart.
Oh how I wish you were here tonight
Whispering sweet poetry in the moonlight.
When I hear you speak my name,
No other words could sound the same.
It's like music and passion rolled into one
My heart races, my throat goes dry, yearning
I lay down and close my eyes.
I feel your breath in my ear
please say my name , draw me near.
Take me out of this world I know
whisper to me soft and slow. As I cry
out your sweet name, I know I
will never feel the same.....
